GOOGLE HAS made available a new mobile version of Google Book Search which allows iPhone and Android users have 1.5 million books in their pockets at least in the United States. In other countries, the selection is currently limited to half a million titles only.

If you like to read your book in your bed without disturbing anyone with the light on, your problem is solved with smartphone reading. And if you have a baby and want to sit next to it and read your favorite novel without waking up the infant then these are minor uses of the services Google is launching! It provides the convenience factor to the new generations who live and breathe by all sorts of electronic devices like laptop or their mobile phone.

The titles are already available in the mobile version of Google book search on the web-based book search.
These titles are optimised for reading on small screens. Google has made available its electronic library of classic books to users of Apple’s iPhone and T-Mobile’s G1 with a mobile site optimised for the browser type both these phones use.

Even now Amazon is considering plans to make available some of the titles for its popular Kindle e-reader for mobile phones. There are other technological considerations like backlighting and battery which can play a role in keeping the numbers of smart phone book readers down, along with the pleasures of having a favorite book in one’s hands any time.
According to new electronic text trends there is great emphasis on getting used to smaller screens. The readers are most interested in such trends and getting used to it. They evince more interest while reading in a train or a bus in order to make most of their time from their busy schedule. Who will complain about it?
